Awana Station is the base station where the cable car journey begins. Located in the Awana SkyCentral, it offers shopping and dining options at the Genting Premium Outlets, featuring discounted rates on top brands. The station also has a spacious parking facility and ticket counters for easy access.


Chin Swee Station is the midpoint of the Genting Cable Car route. It offers access to the Chin Swee Caves Temple, a beautiful and serene spot to explore. The temple complex is known for its intricate architecture and peaceful surroundings. You can disembark here to enjoy the temple, take photos, and soak in the breathtaking views before continuing your journey.


Genting SkyWay cable car station is the final stop at the peak of the Genting Highlands. It is connected to the SkyAvenue shopping mall and entertainment complex. The station offers numerous attractions, including a cinema, an indoor theme park, and various dining and shopping options. Genting Skyway

This is the main cable car station in Genting Highlands and is located at the base of the hill. The Genting Skyway cable car takes visitors from the base to the summit of the hill, passing through the dense rainforest and offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Chin Swee Station

Chin Swee Station is one of the stops on the Genting Skyway cable car ride to the summit of Genting Highlands. How to Reach

  • By Bus: Take the Genting Express Bus from KL Sentral or Puduraya Bus Terminal in Kuala Lumpur. The bus ride covers approximately 44 kilometres in 1.5 hours. The buses run at 20-minute intervals every day and stop at Genting Bus Station in Gohtong Jaya, located 1.2 kilometres away. 
  • By Car: The Genting Cable Car Station is around 1.5 hous away covering approximately 44 kilometres from the Kuala Lumpur. When driving, head north via Lebuhraya Kuala Lumpur - Gua Musang/E8 and continue till you reach 2 Jalan Pahang. From there, take the E8 ramp to Kuantan/G. Highlands and exit 803A-Genting Sempah toward Genting Highlands/Inst. Aminuddin Baki. 


The Best Time to Visit

You can visit the Genting Highland cable car station all through the year. However, the ideal time for a visit is between March and September. This is when you can enjoy clear skies and mild temperatures ranging from 15°C to 28°C. To avoid crowds and get the best views, visit early in the morning before 10:00 a.m. The cable car operates daily from 07:00 a.m. to midnight, making morning visits ideal for a serene experience.
